Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing method in which a smooth-edged tool - the gua sha stone - glides across your face to improve circulation and break up stagnation-induced retention. They can be used all over the body, but are the most beneficial on the face – and by now, you've probably seen all of your favourite influencers and TikTok'ers using them.

Facial Gua Sha uses a stroke that creates pressure and stretch at the same time, which makes it more effective than a facial roller for sculpting facial features like cheekbone and jawline. Gua Sha tools that are designed with shapes that fit around facial curves amplify this benefit even more.
