Prayer Bead Mala Necklace
Prayer Bead Mala Necklace
The Wooden Mallah Beads, also known as Japa Mala or Mala, can be worn as a stacked bracelet, a long necklace or can be used as an aid to prayer and meditation. It is a symbol of the beauty and sacredness of your meditation practice.
The mala consists of 108 individual beads, a symbolic number in Buddhism, Hinduism, and yogic tradition.
These are counted one by one, beginning and ending with the Guru bead, whilst chanting a mantra (usually “Om mani padme hum”) and counting breaths taken during meditation. By doing this it is believed that we are connecting us with inner peace.

Use a soft cloth to wipe the beads, rinse off and dry them. Wood beads need at least 24 hours to be completely dry.
Store your mala on your altar or on any sacred place, best surrounded by crystals and any other sacred object.
