Aroma
A warming, fresh forest aroma.

The plant
An evergreen coniferous tree which has clusters of long needle-shaped leaves. Many kinds are grown for the soft timber.

Affects
Used to relieve mental, physical and sexual fatigue. Also used to cleanse rooms, especially during time of change and illness.

History
The needles and shoots were used by Native Americans to treat bronchial conditions, coughs, colds, fevers and rheumatic pain, and many tribes would burn parts of the tree along with juniper and cedar in their purifying rituals and to repel mosquito's, lice and fleas.

Blending
Pine Oil blends well with the oils of Bergamot, Cedarwood, Citronella, Clary Sage, Coriander, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Myrrh, Niaouli, Neroli, Peppermint, Ravensara, Rosemary, Sage, Sandalwood, Spikenard, Tea Tree, and Thyme.

Suggested directions for use:
Add 6-10 drops in a bath.
Mix 5 drops with water to use in an oil burner.
Mix 6-10 drops with hot water as an inhalation.
Mix 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil for massage.

Precautions:
Do not take internally.
Keep away from children and eyes.

If oil gets into eyes splash out with water, seek medical advice if necessary.
